Ok so i have been wanting to paint my back wheel wells with a rust proof black paint.

Should i also scuff up the wells for a better bite?Or just spray right on?Also what grit paper should i use to scuff up?Thanks guys.

definitely scuff up other wise the first time you get into some mud and fling it up in there, it will act like sandpaper and peel it right off, trust me on that. I would scuff up w/ like a 600-800 grit. dont apply pressure, just let the paper work itself. put atleast 2-3 coats on as I said the first mud hole that flings dirt up in there will act like sandblasting.

Yeah I didn't scuff mine at all and hit it with the rustoleum liner. About a month later half was gone and the other half flaking

Hey Mike, how's your rockers and stuff holding up with that stuff? Is it flaking off or anything?
