I read an older post on this and wondered if their problem was ever solved? My passenger floor board (under floor mat, but not against dashboard wall) is really wet. No antifreeze smell, just water...any suggestions?

Possible windshield leak, ripped weatherstripping on door, stopped up drainage hose for ac, cowl not draining properly. Thats the obvious things I would check.

I read something about third brake light leaking? Is that a possibility?

Wait, are you talking about the front floorboard or rear? If rear, then yes the third brake light is prone to leaking especially in 04-08 trucks. There was a TSB about it and Ford had an updated gasket it for it.

No it's in the front passenger. Directly in the middle of the floor board.

The only other thing I can think of would be to pull the carpet back where its wet and seet if a rubber plug has come out of the floor, then I would look for the drain hose for the ac. It's suppose to drain outside the truck but if it becomes clogged, it will drain inside.

It is te 3rd break light! I had the same issue! Put some clear silicone around it, and it hasn't been wet scence!

Yes it seems to puddle in the front. I had the same issue. Its actually wet all the way back. Can't really tell that until you pull the carpet. It puddles up front and soaks through

Sure enough! I would have never believed it but, a mechanic told me to try that first and it worked!
