Just got done at the gym, go to start my truck and it doesn't start. Its cranking fine but its not firing up. Starter is working, battery is fine. When my key is in the ON position my Theft light is flashing fast so I automatically assumed pats locked me out.

I tried spraying some starting fluid in the throttle body and starting it but that didn't work either. I also tried reseting the fuel pump with the reset button on passenger side kick panel and that didn't help.

I need some help guys... any ideas?

Do you have a spare key to try? Or unhooking the battery for a few minutes

Try smacking the steering column ( serious) and if not maybe try locking the truck hopping out and unlocking the drivers door with the key and then try starting the truck

Your issue could be the key though, do you have an autostart or tuner?

Usually the key though isn't the actual issue but when yet go and reprogram for the key it does the whole system so it fixes it but I've always heard the crisply key chip failing is minuscule but once they flash it it covers it all with the new key

I have an SCT livewire. I hope nothing with it caused this. I literally haven't touched it though. I tried to read codes with it and it wouldn't let me do that. I'm gonna try a few things out this morning.

Unlock door, open, close, lock - with key repeat 3 times.

Unlock door, open, close, lock - with key fob 3 times.

    Repeat as necessary.

Truck fired right up!! Guy on f150forum told me to do it and he was right. He said his PCM relay went out when his did this. Anyone know where that is located?

I have dashes through my odometer when battery is at the on position. This is a sign of a bad PCM relay so ill probably try to replace that first.
