Oh I'm not trying to start anything. Just saying what others have experienced. I appreciate you writing this and there's a lot of good info. I was just stating what I have read so I may be off base but just trying to relay what others have seen so others can make an educated decision about what to spend their money on

All I know is I could tell a noticable differernce after I did the Gotts mod.. of course I also replaced a dirty air filter and cleaned the MAF so that may have had somthing to do with it..

I'm not arguing with you either. I was just stating some people will argue over this. I actually applaud people to come in this thread and post their ideas. It helps them think about what they should or want to do. It's just every cai thread I have read. Gotts this, gotts that, or gotts makes this amount of hp. Lol. It gets on my nerves. I know the gotta do is proven On the dyno but you really can't get excited about it if you can't tell the difference. Lol the k&n on my 04 sucked but it did improve my throttle response and sounded good. So I do miss that aswell.

Lol speaking of dirty filters... I used to work at a concrete plant. Always dusty out there. Well for about 10,000 miles I didn't check my air filter but changed the oil and what not. But my truck started running funny. So I asked my dad about it. First thing he said. Have you changer your air filter? I said no. So we pop the hood and once we uncliped the filter housing I seen a puff of dust. I lol at this point. We opened it up and had enough concrete dust to make a pretty decent Pile. God was that filter nasty. So after that I check my filter every 3000 miles. Hated working at that place. Lol
