    Is it just me, or are we seeing the beginning of the end for the classic V8 pickup. Making this kind if power with the fuel economy... the only benefit to a V8 i can see at this point is the sounds it makes.

    Until you think of the amount of power you can get with 2 more cylinders....an EB 5.0 V8? :manos:

    fwiw, the 5.0s are getting almost the same mpg as the EB right now too
