    hey guys, how yall been?

been kinda MIA for the past week or so. been busy with work. school just started today so ill have time on tuesdays and thursdays to talk it up!

trying to figure out how to go about this rocker panel repair, should be ordering the panel soon. its getting really bad.

i noticed the inside of my door showing some surface rust. any tips on fixing it so it dont get worse? i dont really want to put any doors on lol the rocker panel and tailgate are my only two problem areas at the moment. the tailgate aint bad at all though. any tips on keeping them doors from rusting will be great.

also my buddy hunter just bougtht a welder, he will be helping me with the rocker repair (i think) im also going to have him weld some new support beams on the underside of my bed. the existing beams are rusting through so i will be replacing them with some 2 1/2" square steel tubing and the whole underside of the bed will be undercoated. not sure when ill get to this though.

he also might be helping me make a prerunner bumper for the front end, we will see. hes making himself one first, gotta check out the work:jester:

For the doors (since im going to be doing it soon on the black truck) we are going to run a wire wheel over it all, then undercoat it good, or use some good rust preventative (not sure yet). Then probably oil down the inside of the door to help prevent it again. I gotta do both doors, and my tailgate. Planning on picking up new doors for the scab in a few weeks too.

i might just have to spray undercoating on it. i dont want to make the outside two tone though. i think there might be some sort of tape you can put over it thats clear.

Your doors are starting on the outside? Mine are still inside along that bottom seam.
