Mine has the 4.6 and has been nothing but reliable. It has over 198k and everything under the hood is original except tune up stuff, a couple of cops and a couple of injectors. It moves decent for me considering its in a big ass truck turning 20s. If your not into high performance, you'll be happy with the 4.6
And see the reliability is mostly what im after on this one I got somethin else to spend lots of money on
Alright so Dad looked at it this weekend when he was out that way. Theres one small crease in the passengers side rear door and a missing mudflap. He said those are the only visual defects with the whole truck and that the crease is barely noticeable. He said everything felt good and tight driving it, no pulls or rattles anywhere. It needs a new windshield and dad figures it will need new brakes, at least fronts, sometime soon. He's gonna phone tonight and see how much the guy is willing to drop price and if he'll take like 6000 or 6500 I think we'll go out Wednesday night and as long as nothing about turns me off I might be bringin it home.
