Alright was reading somewhere that someone swapped a stroker into a tenth gen, but when I search everything I just find stuff about people asking about the swap, anyone actually seen or read about a truck that actually had the swap done?
I've seen a local guy swap a 5.9 into a tenth gen f150 but have never seen a power stroke actually make it into one
Carrying the weight of the Powerstroke was my question. Guess the upgraded coil springs and a Dana 60 solved that?
my question is why? You can buy a short box supercab 99-03 F250 and it runs with that running gear from the factory.... I understand 4bt's into a half ton, even 6bt's because of the performance possibilities, but why build something you can buy on the used market with the heavy duty frame and suspension already in there, for <10k if you shop around. Especially since he's going with a stock auto behind it.
Agreed. I guess just to say you have a f150 with a diesel motor, but its still pointless if you ask me.
I would own one. I prefer the looks of an f150, but I want the towing power of a diesel. I'll be buying a new truck in hopefully less than two more years, and I'll probably get a 2 or 350 diesel, but I'd rather have a 150. Sent from my SCH-R760 using Tapatalk 2
