dang im suprised i havnt seen this thread.

you have a couple options when it comes to mounting.

    1. complete bolt on using mounts from the tow hooks. or holes in the bottom of the steel bumper:

    2. chopping the frame a little bit and welding the bumper to the frame, you would remove the factory steel bumper and the valance to do this so it is closer and has a good approach angle:

    3. do what I did and welded 1/2in plate steel and weld it to the front of the frame horns and have 4 holes in it and have another plate thats welded to the pipe that makes up the bumper, (notice: its not the greatest but i did it without gas and no bender so I had to make all the angles sharp.

i feel like you wanted to do that the first time but what was in your head and what was in your abilities to build was completely different :jester:

suprisingly no, I wanted a full tube bumper that had a top hoop and fog light covers. didnt really plan on doing any midtravel/prerunner setup at that time.

i want one of these bumper so bad. just cant see paying that price. Might see if me and the cousin can tackle it. bending a piece of pipe to the curve of the front end is what's going to blow.
