1" Steel Live Axle: Go Karts Parts: Racing Kart Parts: Engines: Frames: Tires: Versailles, Ohio: USA: Indoor Track: Tips: Chassis: Kits: GoKart: Briggs: Yerf Dog: Manco: Comet: Torque Ya still need bearings and bearing hangers, maybe a 1" axle reduced to 3/4" on the ends and threaded. Live axle will give a "posi" instead of a "one wheel wonder".
Yeah that's exactly what we want. Where we ride the dirt is real loose. Had that one wheel throwing dirt over our heads and boggin down ...in dry dirt lol. My fourwheeler has a rear diff instead of chain. Would be nice to find a full engine/rear axle. A reverse gear would be nice
no reverse needed, just pick up the front end and turn it around, and as for suspension, find a couple of trashed mountain bike that has the suspension below the seat and take those off and mount them to the front. For the rear, I know it might sound stupid but go to a junk yard find a 2 bottom leaf springs take them off and have them cut in 4th's or 3rd's and get them clamped together and find a way to mount them to the back and still have it chain driven
If we did any kind of suspension In the back we'd have to extended the frame and the chain. It already fits in the back of the truck perfectly. No need for a limo cart lol
you wouldn't have to extend it at all, all you need is to drop the axle weld up some extra support mount the rear suspension and extend the chain, that all
Yes Carl. The motor is right over the drive gear. If the suspension were to compress the chain would fall off lol. The sprocket would have to be the pivot point of the suspension just like on a chain driven race quad or dirt bike
better than not having any ideas at all.... and I meant put the engine in the middle of the back of the cart so the shafts are the same length, like FWD cars a shorter shaft will pull harder and faster...not good for a drift car. not like an italian sportscar with the engine in the middle of the cart.
