i'm working on building a center console, more like a "control center" for my truck, basically its gonna house my CB, power inverter, maybe a few LEDS, and a switch or two, and have a lock box so should i continue to hook everything right to the battery, or is there some way of having a main line come into a fuse block and wiring everything to that?
Go to auto zone and buy fuse block. They house 6 fuses for all your accessories. Run a 8 ga. fused power wire to it. you can tap all your accessories to the fuse block.
you could add another fuse specifically to power that "control center." just make sure that you have the right size guage wire and the fuse itself
