I did replace my rear shoes on my 97 f150 4x4 today. I took off the passenger side shoes were like new but self adjuster was all messed up. Driver side was down too metal. Fixed adjuster on pass side, and changed out the shoes on driver side. Truck has lots more pedal and stops like a champ. Guess thats what happens when you don't inspect brakes until they growl.

At least they're changed now. Always a good idea to check them periodically.
