Rear sliding window glass

    OK so the latch for my rear window has been gone ever sense I got the truck so I finally got a new one problem is what do I use to hold it on jb weld? It didn't come with an adhisive tape like I thought it would... any one else had to replace this?

    I dont think jb weld would hold too good on glass but i could be wrong.
    Id reccomend a window urethane.

    Post up a pick of what your working with and it will help show what your tryin to stick where. I have no idea what the latch setup looks like.

    I work in a window plant and we use various adhesives depending on what we are sticking on and where. Some of our latches dont have nothing more than a strip of duck tape over the edge and a handle tapped on with a hammer and holds fine. Some handles we use black window urethane. We also have some specially made 3M double sided tape that holds glass to a aluminum frame to create a flush surface.

    Its not on glass there's a nother surface stuck to the glass ill take a pic in a little bit
