Mine doesn't stick out too far - and so far, no runs, no drips and no errors. But, the sun beats down no mine, and it's become more light grey than anything. What paint would you use in that plastic, that will survive the elements? I think there's a Krylon for plastics, but don't know if someone used it yet.

To take that surround off you take the interior trim out, pop off the back window and there are some screws that hold it on from the inside. I say krylon fusion for plastic, some tape, and newspaper is your best bet man.

Painters tape, and a can of Krylon Fusion at the ready. Just need a copy of the Atlanta Journal Constipation to cover everything. Weekend project for sure. I'll post before an afters.

Luckily mine doesn't need any TLC yet. I guess it's from sitting in a garage most of the time.

No problem - I'll just call it inspiration. Did it this evening before the sun went down. Pulled the painters tape off already, but I'll have a better look tomorrow. That faded grey had to go.
