I want to.know this also because dad has one that needs rebuilt. Sent From My Samsung Fascinate Using The Chuck Norris
I don't think its that bad, there isn't any electronic crap anywhere. You can get some serious built ones from Summit for ~$2000, take up to 800lbs of torque.
From I read on the other Ford Forums its one of the easiest for first timer. Its recommended to have the ATG service manual when doing it.
Which manual manual should I get the haynes or atg? I heard atg can be hard to follow for some people. We all know haynes sucks anyways but i bought electrical one and wasnt too bad. I know half stuff in 88-00 c/k gm trucks wasnt even in there or wasnt detailed enough.
