been a litle while but been swamped at work and on PSD forums getting stuff for the truck. this is a run down of my saturday and sunday

Awesome news. Ran out in the Tahoe to get kolaches and pass the truck when pulling back in. Notice the center back window looks open and realize someone broke in. Furious I got out opened door since I didnt see my cts from outside and gladly saw it hanging there on the floor plugged in. The smashed the window but the tint held the glass mostly in one piece then they crawled in and over the car seat in the middle back to get up front and unlock the truck. Had the cts a spare key to the truck and 2 pairs of oakleys in the front seats and all they took was a pair of tin snips. Retards couldn't figure out how to get the cts out or unplugged. And my Tahoe has factory nav and parked right next to the truck over night and was just fine.

Looks like new glass and tint tomorrow

and the new tailgate from yesterdy which was locked and stayed..


:thumbs: went to look at a KR steering wheel and ended up with a sweet deal on a 08 tailgate that is already my color (mostly) and in great shape. no dents but does have scratchs and no step.

got it home and installed then swapped the lock cylinder from my old one and love the look. will be getting it repainted in the near future and probably a camera that will display to my insight CTS.

and today i priced the window pane a few places and only one could do just the center piece for 250. two others put the entire 3 window piece for 350-410 installed for the manual slider.

called a local yard and going tomorrow at lunch to have a power slider with motor installed from an 05-07 for 450. theyre gonna mount the motor etc and leave me wired to the assembly to run up front an hook up with the switch thats already in the dash.

gonna try and work them down some or add in a egr or something else i need

 

other than that im now running matt at gearhead automotive's SRL tune and its amazing.

 

im confused. what's good news about someone bashing your window out and breaking into your truck?

 

Sucks dude. Like i told ya on TMC. Its crazy. Dont they have security cameras where ur parkin?

 

sarcasm. like how awesome it is that im having to spend wheel/tire or front bumper money on a rear window

not yet but possibly in the near future

yea i was lucky they didnt get the edge which would have been over 400 to replace plus the window and tint

 

man that sucks but glad everything is working out. hope it all gets worked out for ya.
