When getting my new tires they noticed a wobble in the front wheels. Turns out my ball joints are shot and need replaced before the trucks safe to drive. I got a quote for $800 to get them replaced. So my question, how hard is it to do haha? I've got the shop, lift, equipment and people to do it, just...don't know what i gotta do

don't pay that ridiculous price for balljoints. do it yourself its not hard i did it on the white truck by my self. upper A arm/ball joints are like $100 each and you can get lowers for about $20 each. rent the ball joint press from autozone and press the lower ball joints in with a socket.

The top ones are made into the control arms so you replace the entire control arm.

Bottom, just use a press to change them out. It's easy if you have a little mechanical knowledge
