I check it so when I go on trips I have a rough idea how many fill ups I am going to need.

According to my Edge I average between 12.5-13.5 mpg with my 4.6L, thats a combination of highway and city driving.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
started driving conservatively. I have kept it under 2k as much as possible. I get into the lowest gear I can as quick as possible, but still w/out going over 2k too much. I have kept my truck under 67mph on the highway. cruise control as much as possible. Even w/ running the AC cuz the weather got hot down here, I improved my mpg by 1.5. I now average 16.5mpg combined. If I am on the hwy alone, I get 22.5mpg (thats what it reads after i reset then drive 45 miles to work in the morning after filling up). Watch how you drive and you can increase your mileage too everyone!
