Rust repair- need help

    Yeah. That's what my dad was thinking. That would be the best bet. I mean it isn't a show truck and there won't be glossy paint to show how bad it is. I will fix the rest of the rust and see how I feel.

    I agree about cutting it back out and redoing it. I'm never going to walmart for anything automotive.

    This side came out better for sure

    Mostly because my uncle and I did the job and not the other guy.

    Sealed it with jb weld and putting the first coat of bondo on this weekend.

    Got some putty in so I can start working on it tomorrow

    Some touch up to get ready for paint. Hopefull won't be much longer
