i dont know if it will work on your trucks but want about flipping the stock manifolds so they point to the front of the truck. we did that on the mustang
i looked into that too, and i think the driver side has a funny "loop" (atleast my gibsons had that) and it wouldn't fit. You can always get a set of header plates and fab your own up. Thats what I'll be doin for my BBC 454.
See..this is where you start to scare me. I'm not afraid of nuts and bolts, I've torn apart several engines and transmissions, but I'm a hack with the welder. I've never put in enough time with one to do a weld I would trust. I think you should take a vacation to the Colorado Rockies that happens to coincide with this project.
lol. no buddies that are welders? any friends that happen to be muffler guys? and who said my welding was worth a ********? lmao
you already have new gears, exaust, and tuner, get a set of headers! flex a lite e fans! and a good supercharger, and the raptor wouldnt touch yours headers 10-20 hp e fans 20-30 hp and some trickflow heads- 40-60 hp and a supercharger 115- 140hp if you have corect gearing and the right boost do some reaserch on this, you wouldnt believe the power you would put down with all the mods you got and those combined and e-fans even give you atleast 1+ mpg!!! when you light on the foot
Id definitely keep your truck. It's sweet, and paid off. Doesn't get any better than that. A kid in my town decided he wanted a 2010 Supercrew and it's been 4-5 months and he's trying to sell it. his payments are about $750/month. Had to pay that out a few months and realized what a dumbass he was. Considering the fact that he works 2 hours away, so a 4hr drive everyday to and from work costs quite a bit of gas money.
