You don't have to. It just cleans carbon build up off the upper parts of the intake and what not. I do it about every 10K or so.
It makes a difference in my truck. I suggest do this, and pick up some MAF sensor cleaner. These are two of the easiest things to do and they make a big difference. The MAF Sensor cleaner is like 8 bucks, but a can last forever.
yea it was on when i poured it in, then when i put the hose back on it died. and started it up to minutes later and it had a little hiccup, almost not even noticeable then was running like normal
The only time mine will hiccup or anything is if I pour it in too fast, but other then that it runs normal while I'm pouring. There will be a slight shake from the vacuum line being loose, but other then that it's idling around the normal RPM.
well i poured it in slow enought that it didnt die. i was basically just getting it to the lip of the bottle and the vacuum was doing the rest.
That's it, you were doing it right then. Like I said, I've never seen one NOT smoke, but that's just me. I've done 5 different cars and they all smoked like crazy for the first 5 minutes or so after firing them back up. I'm stumped...
