Thanks Justin, and not as bad as you might think. You got a couple of nice looking F150's there. Kinda partial to that Black Reg/Cab though! lol
Its all good dude. Danny didn't mean any harm in what he said. Thanks for posting helpful information.
Here's the thing......You dont know me, maybe I do take things to serious, maybe I dont. I am , however, the type that if I have something useful to add to a post I will and if not I just keep on reading. I dont know you, so maybe you joke around on other peoples post alot, I dont know. I am not mad or upset just wanted to make a point that if I wanted or needed "smart" comments I would be posting pics of my Ford on a Chevy forum. I come to this site to associate with like-minded people who have a love for Ford trucks, and have a respect for one another. Thats my thought of the day(relevant or not). lol BTW....you got a sharp truck man.
Jeez Danny, you're such a jerk! I think the relevance is gone for the OP, but I suppose reviving an old thread could benefit those looking for ideas. Sent from My Porcelain Throne using Tapatalk
I'm talking 1995 - 2000. I used to install/uninstall custom center consoles at Choo Choo Customs after catching up on the electrical dept. work. Most vehicles, Ford, Dodge and Chevy had leather "captains chair" style seating either factory or a leather recover with center console depending upon the build work order. Almost all of them were wood pattern bases wrapped in Naugahyde, spray glue the base and wrap then staple the hidden edges. Some had power points inside, heated / cooled beverage cup holders or some like the Expy had entertainment center headphone stations facing the rear passengers for the overhead TV or a separate CD/tuner radio. Customers always wanted to upgrade consoles so we would pull out the old and install the new. Amazing to me the cheap L brackets they used to hold those consoles down. Right angle IR air drill is your friend. Just saying making something custom could be an option for those with wood working skills instead of adding / adapting a different from the factory style console.
