SAS is definitely nice... but if you arent wantin to dump 10k in, i'm sure you can get the parts for a standard 4x4 now, then save up for the 10k SAS conversion, that way you still have your truck, and instead of saving for a new truck, you're saving for the SAS... just don't wanna see you give up the truck that you've done so much too... i know i could never get rid of mine for all the blood swear and few tears i have put into her.
thats the thing, im expecting the costs to be around 10k but im still debating on it because like this i would keep my truck that has 70k miles on it with a one of a kind SAS, or sell her put another 10-15k and get a newer 4x4
nope as it, nothing off for the right price. if they try and low ball the price, a lot of things start coming off lol but in the way it sits now i would try and get 17k
just remember, if you buy brand new, i know your just like us, youll start puttin mods on it, and pimpin it out, wheels, tires, lift, exaust, the whole 9 yards, and when you buy a 40-50 thousand dollar truck, or any new truck, would you not want a warranty, cause most the mods we do void warrantys have you thought about that yet?
i know a few guys who have done a sas swap and this guy has a point, my truck has alot of sintemental value to me, and i know your truck does to you, ya know puttin mods on and workin hands on with it, and so much time in it and thinkin of different ways to set it apart from the rest and make it your own , infact the more you keep doin the better its gonna get, i would deff consider how much you would miss it, and all you have done to get it up to this point GO WITH OG, AND TRY TO COME THROUGH WITH AN SAS SWAP, YOU'LL COME OUT CHEAPER THAN 10 GRAND! AND YOU WONT BE LIKE THE OTHER F150S, NO IFS IN THE FRONT SOLID AXLE!!
