Hey guys, changed my spark plugs and plug wires and now the truck is idling up and down, as in, idles at its normal speed for a few seconds, then the rpms drop way down, then come back up, drop down, etc... What kinda things should I try in order to fix this? It runs smooth while driving, just idles weird.
I'll try cleaning the IAC. I've had IAC issues before but it threw a code last time. I'm not getting any codes this time around. I should mention that I did clean the MAF when I did the plugs. I had the air filter (K&N) off so I decided to to the MAF just for the fun of it. As for the EGR, where is it, and how would you go about testing it?
The EGR is on the drivers side. Its the tube that comes out of your exhaust manifold and up into a small port on the intake.
