So I'm looking for a set of shorty headers for my 2000 Navigator, and I'm seeing that the selection is tragically slim. I'm wondering if I have any other options. The 2000-2002 Navi has the 5.4 DOHC, which isn't really used in a whole lot of applications (though what a HELL of a motor!) so I'm wondering if a set of shorty headers for a 5.4 2v like the F150's have would fit these heads and bolt up to the rest of the exhaust.

    Any thoughts or ideas? TIA!

Nope. The exhaust ports on a dohc and sohc are different. You will not find any shorties or longtubes for that engine.

I just recently put a dohc 5.4 in my truck and all I did was put stock exhaust manifolds on it.

You might be able to use mustang shorties for a cobra but those will run you about 700 bucks which really isn't worth the minimal gain you will see.
