    i lost power when i first did shorties on my truck. after re-doing the exhaust i gained 8 hp and 15 ft lbs of torque haha. NOT worth it...luckily theres a blower on the truck, so i didnt really get hurt feelings

    i dont want to have to redo my exhaust with the shorty's all i have to do it bolt em on. with the long tube ill have to do some fab work and getting em to fit on a 4.6 is a night mare not to mention modifying the egr

    Why get the shortys at all though? You won't really gain any power or sound....Get a set of hi-flow cats instead

    i got high flows i really just want to fix my leaking manifolds but thanks for yalls opinions and reply's

    ah, well if you're replacing them anyways, shortys will be fine. Anything is better than stock :peace:

    ya real restrictive with 175,000 miles on em plus found a good deal on the shorty's now just got to buy a case of pb blaster be for i try to break those studs loose

    sounds like a plan man. definitely get the shortys if you just need to replace stock and dont wannle deal witht he hassle.

    just in case you dont know the shorties are a bigger pipe and are shorter than the OE manafolds...so you would have to add pipe.....but theyre not worth the price.

    i was trying to read the rest of the posts after mine, but i keep getting caught up on ak cowboys avatar picture haha. the rest is blurry
