well i'm still havin issues with my truck, they want $80 at the dealer just to hook it to the scanner, ive done some research, nobody can seem to help me, other people cant figure it out, i've already threw money at it and spent alot of time researching and trouble shooting, so is it worth spending the $80 to find out whats wrong with it or do i continue to threw money at it and get nowhere?
http://www.fordfullsize.com/forum/f88/sluggish-start-4396/ what i've done it has a random misfire, idles rough, starts rough, bogs when accelerating, but fine when cruising, has a super loud injector tick -new vacuum lines -fuel filter -cleaned EGR and IAC -checked all EGR components -plugs, wires, and cap and rotor within the last 5k miles -seafoam -lots of injector cleaner -codes pulled - banks 1 and 2 are lean, o2 sensors reading bad -replaced pcv valve theres a guy on ford-trucks with 3.0 ranger having the exact problems i am and has put lots of time and money in his and as of july 3 still has not figured it out 3.0 momentarily bogs down on accleration - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Hey wat about pcv have u checked that or do those trucks even have one Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
i'd probably spend the money just to see what's up. maybe not at a stealership but find somewhere that will do a complete check of everything. i know a shop here and town that does it for less than 80, might want to check around
agree with the guys, its better to get it checked for the 80 bucks and then you know whats wrong with it. if u dont do it u might break somethin expensive or keep throwin parts at it to fix it. go for the 80 bucks!
