Im going to build a small bed cage this weekend, it will house a toolbox/ tabs for lights, brackets to hold two bicycles and be able to lock them in so no one can steal them, and extra tiedowns. look something like this:

    or using round tube:

I would really love something like this:

however in talking with a friend, he says I should use DOM tubing...I dont evne know if I can get DOM, but this aint suspension... I think DOM would be WAY overkill, I think 1.25 or 1.5" square tube would be fine, and it would be bolted down using the factory bed bolts and will be bedlined with rattle can....like everything else on my truck :jester:

what do yall think? round tube or square tube? :hmm:

 they let you go???? :jester:

I voted round tube, because I just think it looks better

Also I like how the blue raptor has the KCs mounted like the jeeps do. I've been planning on doing that with my slimlites after I replace them with some 7" HID warn lights

    Square will be easier assembly,
you would have to fish mouth any angles
that meet in the round tube.
