    I'll look thru my old CB manuals for the mod on the 25 LTD
    that lets them run wide open today.

    UPDATE: Found it, says to cut D9, audio limiter diode.

    I've got a 29 LTD classic that's Peale an tuned. Picked it up for about 40 bucks. I love it.
