Hello fellow f150 owners.. I have a 2007 fx4 with 113k kilometers on it. The problem I am having is usually when I am going up a hill at 80-90km/h and my truck will downshift to stay at speed. When it down shifts there is a brief vibration as it changes gears. I'm not sure if this is a serious problem or not but if anyone could give me some input that would be much appreciated!

Check your transmission fluid. Try running with overdrive off also. if that stops it, then your torque converter is going out.

My truck did the same thing, it is the torque converter chattering.
Its a common problem with Ford Transmissions.
Oreilly's has an additive called Dr. Tranny Instant Shudder Fix, I put it in my tranny and ever since it has been fine.
