I come out of work yesterday, and below is what I see. Now I'm glad, happy, thankful the lady who hit me (backed into the truck) left a note with her name/number. You don't have many of those people in society anymore. Heck she even provided a claim # with Progressive when I called her. Of course Progressive wasn't the friendliest when I called on the claim, so I have contacted my agent (Farmers) to get them moving on this from their end. Farmers has always fought for me in previous accidents that weren't my fault and I've been more than satisfied. Now stupid Progressive wants me to take the truck to them, and can't even look at the truck until next Tuesday. So a minimum of a week until the truck goes to get a new bumper cover and painted. I won't accept simply a repaint of the bumper cover, as you can clearly see grooves in the plastic. Wasn't like that prior, I won't accept anything less than the way it was before. The truck will be going to O'Meara Ford Collision center where I have all my work done on the truck.
Thanks all. It's not a huge amount of damage as you can tell. But it's the principalities smokey! This is the first ding this truck has ever had, except for a scratch on the passenger front fender that the wife created when she opened her car door and hit the truck. Heck, almost kicked the wife when I found out about the damage she caused. Say what? Haven't been on much lately, so have you messed up the 250 already? I've had the truck 5yrs now and has only had 2 dings. This one and the one from the wife mentioned above.
