    That may have been the case in 2004 but I'm pretty sure what I stated was right in 2005. I waffled a long time on whether to order the FX4 for the premium price or the XLT. The XLT won because I didn't want leather and I didn't like the colors with the DSG bottom on anything but black.. and I don't want to take care of black paint. :jester:

    I still got the skid plates, 5.4 engine and LS rear on my XLT.

    Actually heres my quote from last night it mentions the DSG being a option and Leather being option.. Im not sure about 2005+ I was only looking at 04 last night

    sweeet thanks for the info guys, i just wanted to clear thngs up. the dsg trim is an option, i see lots of fx4's that are solid colors with ptm bumpers.

    Dylan you need to swap your bumper for ones with round fogs. Give it a 2007 look. Ooh rah. Lol.

    Ford pulls some screwy **** with their options. They have a red color this year that I love but you can't get it with certain options, even ordering it. WTF? It's just paint.

    i know it must be a special thing like i noticed only certain colors are available in FX4 like you can't get a maroon FX4 or a Stone green one like jesses truck. and adam i thought the rectangle fogs were 04-05 and the circle fogs were 06-08 and it wouldn't fit?

    ^^^ correct. they moved the mounting points from inside frame rail to outside. you can mount a rear bumper from an 04-05 to an 06-08... w/ some steel bars for adapters. lol. thats what i did. but you cant do that to the front since the frame is in the way.
