Just someone who knows what they're doing. Any decent 4x4 shop should be able to get it installed pretty easily.
yeah im gonna find a shop ive setup a couple of rear ends but dont got the tools any more o and im pretty sure ive got the 8.8 with 31 spline but how do you tell vin
i've been wanting a locker and gears myself, haha in my 2wd she gets stuck in the ga clay with my 1 wheel power pretty quick lol, but ive heard those lockers make a world of difference, but man that locker is more expensive than others ive looked at. you might look and see if you can find some cheaper ones, cause ive looked at them for only around 300.
well what yall think would be better and, is that a no on the ford racing gears cause i only wanna do this once so money is not and object yet and ive herd nothing but good things from the det e locker
I think the ford racing gears should be fine, they'd turn those 285's with ease. And on the locker It just seemed high, check these out and see what you think. Might wanna make shure i got your axle spline count and size right, but isnt it a 8.8 31 spline? Heres some with that size.
