    I've read reviews from strangers on the internet... now i'd like some reviews from people I trust. if you know of anyone w/ this headunit, lemme know whats up w/ it, good & bad. Thanks!

    Sorry I can't help. I don't get into anything in that area anymore. I think I burnt myself out on that in the past. I just go for the good ole stock system :D

    yea, i like my stocker 6disc mp3 too. hell, its been awesome for 5 yrs now. but, w/ the lil kid, i need something that she can watch movies on. and if i'm gonna drop $500, might as well be a new headunit i can enjoy, rather than dual headrest w/ BI dvd for the same price that only she gets to watch.

    :peace: yeah we have the dual head rest setup so we can swap it from my wifes explorer to my truck etc.

    Not familiar with this model. Sony products that I have owned have been very reliable with features other bands don't have.

    Thank Joe. Thats good piece of mind. I'm still contemplating whether or not to upgrade the entire headunit, or just get some headrest w/ built-in dvd for the same price... :hmm: damn you west for bringing up a great alternative
