I was just on my way home with a load of 2 yards of dirt in my trailer, and 2001 F150 and I pulled into my drive way, and the damn stater cable fell off the starter!

Good thing it happend at home, and not out on the road somewhere...so I went to Crappy tire (Canadian Tire) and got a cable terminal and installed it. Seems almost better then new now. I don't normally tinker with my truck, so I decided to give it a try, before taking it into the mechanic.

At first I thought it was the starter, burned out or something. Then I saw the cable hanging under the frame. I did not have any shrink wrap, so I used super 88 electrical tape? Hopefully it will hold up.

I can't beleive it just corroded off like that.

Looks good I would of done the same thing if the tape wears off put new on but I think it's good. You should get some undercoating on yer frame it's looking a bit rusty.
