my steering has been F-ed up since the day i got my truck and my wheel has always been really cockeyed. long story short after i got my rcx on a few weeks ago and did my new ball joints i got it aligned and the only way i could get it to align correctly was for the wheel to be directly upside down..

MY QUESTION IS THIS, the steering extension that is added when the body lift was put on could i not just loosen it ( take it off ), spin the wheel a full 180 (so its straight NOT upside down) and then put the extension back on?

yea that would annoy me. my brothers steering wheel is always to the left when you're driving straight and it bugs the shit outta me. no way i could deal with that

well it wouldnt work, end of the steering extension has one slotted side for the bolt to lock onto, so that means you cant 180 it and put it back on. looks like im stuck with the upside wheel until i make some time to put in this new steering box and get it re-aligned

Un-spline it where the slip joint is (and rotate) before the actual steering gear box.
