Steering wheel

    Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew if the 09-12 steering wheels will fit on an 08. I really want the one that is on the new FX4 appearance package. Also I cannot find where to buy one of them.

    I am not sure about that, but they do make a aftermarket one, but its a chunk of change!

    yes they do. and luckily the airbag sensor is the same. however, the airbag in your truck will not go into the 09+ steering wheel. so you'll need that Bag as well.

    would any of those steering wheels fit on a 97-03?

    I would love a new steering wheel..

    I know I would have to replace the bag but will the steering wheel fit. Also does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket one?

    The same guy I can't find on eBay for MP does 97-03 as well. but again, i cant find his name. looking....

    yes, it will fit. there also was this guy off eBay that did custom wheels. carbon fiber, different types of wood grain... stupid ebay wont let me pull up that old of a message. Here is one I found, but its not the same guy.

    Thanks man I will take a look at him. I just really like that one on the new FX with the red stitching its awesome.

    that original steering wheel guy that i cant find, can do ANYTHING. darn you eBay for not storing my emails for more than 8 months!!!

    You wouldnt happen to be talking about ran****out would you? Ive read good things about him and he can do basically anything you want in leather. he mostly deals with king ranch items, but he said that he can do anything you want, just shoot him an email about it.

    you got Censor-ized. can you try again? and i think the guy you are talking about i've seen, but yea, most his stuff is for KR, not the regular trucks. the one i am talking about removed the upper and lower section of the vynil on the steering wheel, then replaces w/ real wood/carbon fiber. i wanted a CF one, and it was gonna run $250, then i'd get $75 back after I sent him my old steer wheel in as a core. DAMN what was his name...
