Greetings, I currently have 3" drop Bell-Tech I-Beams and 5" drop Flip Kit on my lowered 92 f-150. I have stock rims and tires currently on it. "Recently cracked one of my old 17 inch KMC stealth rims, "Can't find a replacement." My question is. Does any one recommend a lower profile tire size instead of using the stock 235/75r15 tires.. I want a lower profile tire, "especially in the front." I want to keep the same size tire on all 4 rims so I can rotate them with out having them chop out ect... I also do not want them to rub in the front..I know that 255/55r17's would slightly rub on hard corners with only a 3 inch drop. The reason I ask is. I have a set of 2" drop Crown lowering springs. The truck will have a 5 inch drop in the front and 5 inch drop in the back. This is a picture of my dirty truck with the 3-5 inch drop in the front. Any suggestions would be great because I am stumped... I been thinking about going with 235/60r15 or moving up to a 255/60r15 but I worry about tire rub on the front.
Going to take the spare tire off..Looks bad from the back....Still needs body work. I'll Work on the bed this summer. It's been a 22 year project lol....Bought it new in 92' with only 4 miles on the odometer now it has almost 280k...Well my parents bought it when I was 10 years old I got it 6 years later for my 16th birthday...Now I'm 30 years old..
