so i got a small kenwood amp hooked up to a 10" MTX in my jeep, been working fine, plays nice and clean, well it quit working

the amp is getting power, it lights up and all that, but is not sending power the sub, we checked all connections, hooked a speaker up to it to test it and nothing, no meter readings off the terminals

    any thoughts?

If you're getting signal from the RCA's to the amp
and everything lights up, the speaker isn't blown and
the speaker wires have good continuity it may
    have went belly up.

Any chance you have a friend with the same brand deck? You could do a plug and play swap to see if its your deck.

My friend had a problem real similar to this. Amp was powered up, subs were good. Ended up the deck had gone bad. Everything on it worked aside from not sending signal to the amp.

Kinda stupid but check and make sure you didn't accidentally turn off the sub through the head unit.
