Thanks guys. I realized there's no way I was gonna make 280 to the wheels like those v6 mustang guys. My driveline is just too big and heavy to translate all that power to the ground. I'm incredibley happy with it though. It spins the tires with ease. I easily doubled the wheel horsepwer so it feels like a whole new truck.
Well I finally got my methanol injection system setup. I love it! I can definitely feel and extra little kick up around 5lbs of boost. I can't wait to get it re-tuned so they can throw some more timing at it and make some real power! However, I had a little horror story when I set it up. Sunday evening I finished up my wiring and topped off the tank and took her for a spin and it ran awesome! But later at night I went to start it up and the motor hydrokocked The Devilsown Meth kit that I bought had an optional check valve that I didn't purchase because I didn't understand what it was. But basically the whole time my truck was running, meth was being sucked down into the cylinders under vacuum not just at 5lbs of boost. So It flooded my cylinders! I did save it all though, pulled my plugs, pulled the fuel pump fuse, cranked her over, and she spat out a bunch of meth! I was so relieved. I immediately ordered my check valve and I installed it Thursday night and it runs like a champ!
