man good thing u guys told me, i may just buy this stuff and do it myself! instead of getting ripped off...
ha hey i would do it for some money, i did it all pretty much by myself on my truck and it took about 3 hours so it should be easy
if the shop went ahead with the alignment the parts listed shoudl still be ok unless they're retarded and went ahead and did the alignment anyways. I wouldnt pay them to do all that work i mean **** to replace that upper balljoint/control arm (comes as one piece) it would only cost you lik $45 for a Moog balljoint/control arm from amazon. you can do all that work yourself and save a ton of money. Those prices are sky high man. you can get the parts for probably less than half of what its going to cost you to have all that done by them. My question is how bad are all the balljoints. you could test them yourself but you'd need a dial indicator. i believe they should have a maximum play of .035" to .050". if the boot is ripped it'll need to be replaced either way. I would get a second opinion or go ahead and do it yourself. Again the parts cant be that worn out if they did the alignment, unless they just tried to trap you into spending a ton of money.
