Simple green, spray and let it sit for a little while and then hose off and air dry. Do it a couple times
Ive used that before on my engine and it never comes out that good lol guess ill have to try it again.
Simple Green works wonders when you let it sit long enough. I do my engine about 3 times a year. The old girl still looks new because of it. Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk
Only was able to work on it for 3 hrs tonight, so replaced the timing belt, all the timing pulleys, new water pump, new thermostat, new serpentine belt and idler pulley also changed the oil. Got the front sorta set on. After class tomorow gonna drop the trans pan an change the filter and fluid. And redo the trans lines that got cut.
So carfax had showed that this car had 49 service records and said it was worth 1600 above book value because of that, we'll after pulling the tires and looking at the susp it definitely looks like it had been well cared for. No movement in any ball joints, shocks look new, new brakes looks great
So i Got it running already , good oil pressure, good temps. Idles good, still missing an intercooler and running out old gas. Revved it a little and it actually sounds pretty throaty for a little sixxer Here's a video of the idle 01 audi a6 2.7: YouTube
