I put it back on stock and its still there. The noise isn't there when idling. I give it a little gas like || that much and it's there but it doesn't do it all the time I have to kinda rev it up then try again before it makes the rattle. So something is lose. I do believe I have a miss. So it's time to replace the cops and plugs. It's just not severe yet.
can you get a sound bite of the noise you are hearing? oh yea, i like how you showed || as your fingers doing "this much" lmao.
totally didnt even see those and I actually read this whole thread before I initially replied lol. it wont let me open those links... i never knew you could upload video to photobucket. thats the only reason i made a youtube acct & a photobucket acct. maybe its the settings here at work. i'll try to give it a listen when I get home.
^^^ LMAO has anyone else heard the sound bites in the first post? Adam just sent them to my phone and w/ my headphones on, it does not sound like the "rattle can" cats sound. It almost sounds internal, on the bottom end, but I am not 100% sure of that. Can someone verify? I can forward the same videos to your phone that he sent me... when he revs it high it goes away. could this be the 5.4L cam phasers? (i got a 4.6 so dont know those issues)
so brainstorming w/ adam, Could someone verify that this sound could be an exhaust leak from the header gasket or somewhere on the exhaust system? Adam says it comes in @ 700 and out at 800 or so, which is pretty damn near how my exhaust leak acts, but I have a HOLE in one of my header pipes.
