thinkin about a winch

    an electric 8 to 9.5k. what brand you guys think?

    warns too pricey for me, im thinkin ramsey, mile marker, etc...

    i wanna get a front reciever hitch and a 2" mounting plate to where i can take it out or put it in the back bumper if i need to. and lock it up when im not using it. :peace:

    I'm totally right there with you on them costing to much, but Warns the way to go man. Bet you could find one used for a good price. We've broke a rough country one before...dunno how much the tree weighed that we were pullin though....lol

    rough country is the cheapest, i say go for it, or you could get a hi-lift with a winch kit, cheaper, less efficient

    spend the extra $$ on a warn, better to pay a little extra then to get out there, get stuck and have the winch break on you... my warn 8k winch does the job, about ripped a damn full grown pine tree in 2 pieces :rofl: I'd go with 9,500lb though. I got a deal on my warn 8k winch, bought it brand new for 400$

    but if you wana go cheap I hear good things about mile marker

    I ran a Ramsy on my Toyota, never had any issues and I think it is a off branch of warn.
