im thinkin about gettin some new wheels but need a little help...i want some backspacing to get my tires out a little bit but not too much. and i really like the look of the crager soft 8 style rims....they are cheap and i think would look good on my truck. think they would be worth it? and if so what backspacing should i look into?

You going with black right? If you google wheel back space there is a chart floating around that gives you a Idea of what the off sets are.

I think the more negative offset you get the more they stick out.

a negative offset will put the hub mounting surface closer to the inside of the rim, which will make the rim stick out. Google " wheel backspace" then look at the google images!
