Mine are 18x9 with a +10 offset. They stick out about 2" which is a little more than I wanted but that was the max positive offset for the wheel. I'm wanting to say that factory wheels are in the neighborhood of a +40 offset. You don't want them sticking out very far unless you are planning on going with pocket flairs or similar. Rocks will beat the heck out of your paint otherwise.
i've wanted a set of crager 8's in 20 ever since i heard the Mojave Teflon's were no longer in production... nothin in 20's though let alone our bolt pattern. to understand backspacing, first know how it is determined. a rim that is 20x10 w/ a 0 offset will have a backspacing of 5.25" (you gain 1/4" for the lip of the rim, which isnt takin into consideration when stating width). Offset is given in MM, so a simple conversion calculator will give you what that MM is in IN. Then just either subtract or add depending on neg/pos (respectively) offset and then you have you're backspacing. that make sense?
thanks for the info vano! why does our bolt pattern have to be so different from others!? i love the simple look of the soft 8s. maybe i can call a local dealer and see if they make so many of them in our pattern that are special order only...its a simple yet great looking wheel imo...
I friend of me and Dale's just picked up some Soft 8's from Summit for his 67 Ford pickup. Haven't seen em yet, but Dale said they look slick.
