That's definitely my favorite so far, I still haven't heard from him. What did you get?

If you're looking for a fuel saver, I'd look at used Focus' or Escorts. Ain't no mini truck going to match them for mpg. I had a 95 Escort auto that would get 30mpg no matter how I drove it, 35mpg if I was nice. It was a 10 second car too :driver:

0 to 60 in 10 seconds that is :jester:

My mini truck got 30 mpg easily.... The new one should average 25.

Brandon, I got a 91 s10 2.8 5 speed scsb 169k miles, cold air, hot heat. All it needed was a clutch master cylinder. Paid 400 bux

I think that would be a wise decision Brendon.
Found my 3.0 Ranger XLT in 2003, it's averaging 18.65 mpg over all.
The PSD is getting better mileage than the Ranger.

The biggest repair on the 3.0 was a leaking gasket between the passenger head and timing cover/water pump. I replaced the timing gear set while I was in there.

I still run the PSD on the yearly Daytona Beach vacation and trips up north, hauling loaded trailers, tow dolly and such. Of course things like tires, brakes, fluid and filter changes are expected but overall this Ranger decision has been a good second vehicle for me.

I'd pick that 88 up. Those things always got great mileage. I knew several people that had em and they ran great and were super reliable. :waytogo:

I got a gas saver, payed $700 for it, fill up cost no more than 33 bucks, and I get around 220 miles on a tank.

My wife said that too... why get a truck? for one, I HATE cars. two, it would be nice to still be able to load up my portable tools in the back. It would all fit in a trunk, but saw dust and dirt would get everywhere, it would just be easier in a tiny truck. I need the 1 ton for towing and hauling big loads, But 80% of the time Im driving it empty. And 3, Ive always liked the idea of having a big 4x4, and a little 2wd sport truck to putter around in.

I really like the little b2200's and 2300's, but If I found a good newer ranger Id jump on it. I just started looking and emailing today, Im not going to jump on the first one I look at ha ha.
