I'm ready to drop the money on the subs. I'm looking at Kicker Comp, or the CompVR (links below). I'm not set on two, as i dont mind cutting my box down. And am open to suggestions still. I'm not good with subs/amps. And im not sure what kind of amp i will need to run either, so help there would be great.

    Kicker 10C102 Comp Series 10" 2-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

    Kicker 10C104 Comp 10" 4-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

Now, here's the thing. My box is divided up, so im unsure how to calculate the air space and what not. Below is the dimensions inside of each subs side.

~ Box is 4" in height

It is a downfire box, and i will be lifting the rear seat for it. With plans to mount the amp under either the driver or pass. side seat.

If i do cut the box down, i will be keeping the 23x10 side. Again, i'm okay with one 10" (a bit more preferred) but keeping it with two 10's is fine too.

JL is overpriced on many of their equipment. How tall are the boxes gonna be? Need that to figure out air space.

If 4" tall, you have air space of .53 cu ft for the box on the left and .47 cu ft. You will need to find a shallow sub that will work well in minimal space.

Of course im new to all this subwoofer stuff, but my 8'' cvr hits hard and sounds great. SO i would recommend them if they all sounds as good as mine. I guess since im new to it im just not as picky. But it definitely made a huge difference in my truck.

If I were to replace my Memphis 10, I'd probably buy JL next.
