Yea that's what I done when I went shopping.

JL w3 are good and kicker cvrs are good as well. I like them both.

The jls will hit a little harder and have a little bit better sound quality. Only reason I didn't go with them was because I wanted a stealth box that went under my seat and the Jl was not shallow enough. Plus Jl is a american brand that is what I got for door speakers.

Pretty sure i am going to order two Sundown SD-2 10's. Not sure if i need the D2 or D4 tho. I'm thinking the D2. Then i need to figure out an amp, and find a bass knob. Then i'll go from there after its all ordered.

If go with 2, get the d4 and wire for a 1ohm load then look for an amo that does 1000-1200 rms. Or go with d2s and put at 2ohm load on an amp like a mbquart onyx1500d. I think they do rated.

The MB Quart 1.1500d would be a good amp.. I have the 1000 running on a 1 ohm load and it works great.. no issues at all running 1 ohm

oh and they do have bass knobs too

:hmm: alright. I'll get back with you guys when it becomes time to wire it all up. WHich would you recommend to go with tho, the D2 or D4's? Mind you, i will probably end up building a center console box down the road. Since i confirmed they will fit in my underseat box until i work something better out.

Depends on what amp you run.. If you go the with MB Quart you could run 2 D2s on the 1500 at 2 ohms and get around 500RMS to each sub or you could run 2 D4s on a 1.1000d like mine at 1 ohm and still get around 500 to each..

Figure out what amp your gonna run then we can tell you if D2s or D4s would be better

    If I were u I would get d4s and a audioque1200d but the mbquartonyx 1.1000d would work.

Serious question here. If i were to build a box to replace my center console. Can two subs share the same airspace as long as its enough? Or would i have to whip up some crazy contraption? I'll draw up some console ideas i've had to better show my thoughts. Since i want to incorporate cup holders, storage, etc. So its kind of a hidden deal. You may see the hole for the port, maybe even the sub. Im just unsure if downfiring, or what is good on how to do it.

If both subs are the same then yes they can share 1 area as long as its got enough airspace for both..

You also have to make sure the port area is big enough for both subs so you don't have port noise
