So I just picked up a 2004 f150 5.4 Triton .started off originally going to replace the phasers, but noticed immediately on passenger side slack on the chain where the guide should be..(,so long story short I have to replace my timing guides, bought a full kit to just replace everything timing related),but ran into an issue, the power steering pump bolt near the oil filter is striped and stuck in place ,and so I removed pulley off the pump to access the bolt on the timing cover,do I need to remove the pump in order to remove the cover or is the pulley the only thing in the way, would appreciate anything anyone may have on this.
